In Spring 2022, Black Girls Film Camp provided an all-expense paid LA Retreat at USC in partnership with USC Annenberg for teen directors, their editor, coach, and a parent to attend. This trip was held from April 29th - May 1st 2022. During the weekend retreat, participants attended sessions led by USC Annenberg and The School of Cinematic Arts' professors, a high tea hosted by Board Member, Nichelle Tramble Spellman, took a shooting basics course taught by Miki Turner, and visited the Academy Museum and Hollywood Blvd.
